Mental Health Resources

It is important to never walk alone in your suffering. No matter what you are feeling, it is valid, true, and painful for you to experience alone. Asking for help can be the first step in alleviating our struggles and pain and allow us to take one step forward in finding peace with ourselves and our lives.


For many anxious or depressed individuals, our to-go way to address these feelings is to internalize our pain. We fear burdening someone else with our troubles or even compare our struggles to "those who have it way worse" and refrain from speaking up. In the end, this internalization only damages us and prevents us within our healing process, and it becomes a never-ending cycle.


Below are resources that may be of help to you. If anyone has not told you today, remember you are loved, seen, you are a gift to this world, and you are more than your mental health. Whether you seek guidance for yourself or a loved one, it is never too late to ask for help or seek the support you need.​

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Helpline

  1. 1-800-662-HELP (4357)

  2. This line provides information and referrals to treatment services. The helpline aids both individuals and/or family members suffering from mental health or substance abuse.

  3. The helpline is entirely confidential and operates 24/7, 365 days a year.

  4. FREE of charge. If you are uninsured, referrals are tailored to allow you to provide free services.

  5. Provides telephone communication services in English and Spanish.

  2. Suicide prevention efforts aim to mitigate factors or conditions that increase the risk for suicidal thinking and behavior. They aim to strengthen, support, and protect individuals from suicide.

  3. Focuses on hope, transitioning individuals into finding adequate treatment, promoting connectivity, and supporting recovery.
