So you've tried mediation, and it's not a fit. Maybe you've tried some yoga but can't find that true peaceful moment you are looking for. The most important thing, don’t worry about it! Everyone copes with their mental health struggles differently. For some, yoga and meditation help, but for others, we may need some more direction and guidance to propel us forward. Your mental health journey is YOURS, and it's important that you find the method that works best for YOU and your daily routine.

Listening to podcasts and even youtube videos have been a great way for me to find step-by-step actions I can implement into my life to change my mindset and my life. If you are an auditory learner and gain more from listening and writing down tips on what to do, podcasts and videos may be the perfect fit for you.

The beauty of podcasts is that you can listen to them anywhere. Whether you are in your room, cooking, doing laundry, in the car, on a plane, or walking to work, podcasts are an easy way to get "guidance on the go." You can pause and come back to them at any time, and they are so helpful in being flexible and tailored to your schedule!

Below is a list of recommended mental health videos and podcasts I have found throughout my healing journey. Each podcast link has a quick description of what they focus on and has a vast area of topics covered. If you have an Apple device, you can listen to these for FREE with no additional costs. If you're an Android user, Google Podcasts is a free app where you can find access as well. Free is always a plus!

Many of these podcasts can be found and accessed for FREE on the site stitcher.com.
